Viewing Your Trends and Results on the Technogym App
Features
It’s important to have concrete data in hand to understand whether you’re improving, plateauing, or hitting setbacks in your fitness journey.

When you create your own workouts using the Technogym App, you can also track your strength training trends and results over time.

Read on to learn more about which data you can track and where to find this information on the Technogym App.

Performance data

Right from when you complete your first strength workout, Technogym Coach’s sophisticated algorithm calculates the following performance data so you can track your progress, whether on a day-to-day basis or over longer periods of time.

Strength training workouts

Weight: Average weight used for each rep

Volume: Total weight lifted, calculated by multiplying the average weight by the total number of reps

Repetitions: Total number of complete movements performed during an exercise or activity

Estimated 1RM: The maximal weight you can lift for a single rep, estimated based on weight and executed reps

How Technogym Coach estimates One-Repetition Maximum (1RM)?

Specifically regarding 1RM, Technogym Coach calculates this data as follows:

  • If it’s your first time doing an exercise, the calculation is based on your level (as indicated during onboarding); your weight; your height; and on standard calculations.
  • If you’ve already done an exercise, the calculation is based on the weights you use and how many repetitions you do.
  • If you’ve done exercises similar to the one you’re currently doing, the calculation is based on similar efforts in the past.

Each time you lift more weight than suggested, your estimated 1RM will change, and Technogym Coach will suggest higher weights the following workout.
