Connect my Heart Rate device on Technogym App
With the Technogym App, you will be able to check your heart rate directly during your training.

Maximize  your workout experience with your heart rate monitor! Synchronizing it with Technogym App, you can monitor your performance during each and every workout.

First, make sure your heart rate monitor is compatible with Technogym App. 

As follows you can find the different devices it can be paired with: 

  • Garmin
  • Fitbit
  • Polar
  • Suunto
  • Swimtag
  • Withings
  • Apple Watch

Now, if you would like to connect your device, you can do it by following two different methods:

  • Directly from your Profile, by going to Settings > Heart Rate Monitor;
  • Just before starting any workout, since a screen will automatically appear suggesting you to connect your heart rate monitor.

Please note that the latter procedure doesn’t apply to the Sessions within the "Workouts" section, which require, instead, a different process. 

In fact, specifically for these types of training experience, you can connect your heart rate monitor only during the workout (unless you have already connected your device previously within the Profile section).

To do this, simply start a Session and press the heart icon on the upper right corner of the interface: you will immediately see a Bluetooth screen appearing which will try to detect your device.

Connect your device before and during a workout

Each time you start a new workout, you will see a summary that will show you an overview of the training you are going to do, indicating specific features such as the level of difficulty, the amount of time and the number of kcal you will burn (and others).

To connect your device within this interface, follow these simple steps:

  1. Select the white button "Start Workout". A pop up window will appear inviting you to connect your HR monitor;
  2. Press on the button "Connect" - you will be then redirected into a Bluetooth interface in which Technogym App will try to synchronize with your device (remember to enable the Bluetooth function from your smartphone settings);
  3. If your device is active, a small panel will appear with the device’s name written on it. Press on the panel: you'll know that the synchronization was successful when you start to detect your heartbeat;
  4. Select the white "Next" button and start your workout. Your bpm will be displayed on the upper right corner of the interface, next to the heart-shaped icon.
    Keep in mind that you also have the option to connect your heart rate device afterwards, in the middle of your workout. In this case, simply go back to the heart-shaped icon on the upper right corner, press it and connect your heart rate monitor.

Heart rate monitoring

With Technogym App, you have the opportunity to go well beyond the monitoring of your bpm: in fact, you can also check the trend of your heart rate... during each phase of your workout! 

In order to do so:

  1. Complete a workout while wearing your heart rate monitor; 
  2. Head to the "Activity" section. You can find it from the panel below;
  3. Within this section, scroll down until you reach the "Last activity" item, then press on "see more";
  4. Within Last Activity, identify the workout you have completed with your heart rate monitor and select it.

You should now see a summary screen of your workout. 

If you press on the heart rate panel you'll be taken into an additional interface entirely dedicated to heart rate monitoring, where you'll be able to check: 

  • A graph of your heart rate throughout the course of your workout, with its line representing the trend of your bpm compared to a specific training time;
  • The average value of your heart rate kept during the workout as well as the maximum value that have you reached;
  • The various areas of heart rate grouped by the level of difficulty.
