If you have just received your MyCycling and you are ready to give out your best, follow this step-by-step guide on how to set up your smart turbo trainer.

MyCycling comes with a practical handle which can help you to positionate it in the perfect area for your training experience.
As it follows you can find, all the steps to properly set your MyCycling up:

Step 1: Stabilize your smart roller

Once you've placed it where you'd like to train, make sure to stabilize MyCycling for a safe workout:

  1. Press the button located on the front center to unlock MyCycling;
  2.  Now you can totally open both the gray legs for a perfect stability;
  3. In addition, at the base of the structure you can identify three more feet, each of which can be perfectly adjusted in height by rotating them to your liking in order to suit every surface.

Step 2: Choose the adapter

The adapters included in the MyCycling mounting kit allow the installation of bicycles with a rear frame width of 130, 135 and 142mm.

Once you have identified the correct one according to the features of your bike, take the corresponding adapters and insert them into the specific cavities on both sides of MyCycling.

Please note that MyCycling has an 11v sprocket set (12-23).

Step 3: Mount your bike

Next, take the quick release already included in the kit; unscrew the adjusting nut, and remove the conical spring.

Insert the pin into the appropriate cavity of the MyCycling roller, the same one in which you have already inserted the adapter.

Finally, screw the adjusting nut back lightly, and make sure that you have first inserted the conical spring, with the larger side directly in contact with the lock nut (Please note that at this stage you have to screw very lightly because you will have to mount your bicycle on MyCycling before finally locking the release).

Next, you can proceed with disassembling the rear wheel of your bike to fit it on your MyCycling by following these simple steps:

  1. Open your bike's brakes;
  2. Open the quick release mechanism, and rotate it a few times;
  3. Remove the rear wheel;
  4. Put the chain of your bike in the smallest ring of the sprocket set of MyCycling;
  5. Fix the rear part of the bike with the quick release, but this time screw it in a definitive way.

However, keep in mind that before proceeding with this final step, make sure that the front wheel is perfectly straight.

Step 4: Turn MyCycling on

Finally, the last step is to connect your roller to the power, directly through the transformer and main power cord included in the box.

You can find the power connection located under the Technogym logo on MyCycling.

Now, all that's left is for you to take your cycling training to the next level and discover the full potential of your MyCycling.
